Ex'tax on 'De Correspondent'
Dutch journalist Rutger Bregman wrote a story about Ex'tax on De Correspondent. The article explains why our tax system is illogic: 'we tax what we want more of (labour), and we don't tax what we want less of (polution for example)'. The author states that there are no more powerful tools to reshape the world than taxes, and he calls for a tax revolution.
The article seems to have struck a chord in Holland; within 10 days, 759 members of the online news platform have shared the article and our facebook page received more than 100 new 'likes'.
